You can find anything on the Internet... Even murder.

Hollis Parker has just started hosting a brave new concept
in talk shows called STRANGERS ONLINE. Mixing the old
radio talk show format with the new Internet technology,
listeners can not only call in to the show, they can also see it,
and themselves... live... online. The callers provide a fascinating,
sometimes frightening, frequently sexual and often hilarious
glimpse into the American psyche: frustrated housewives,
wanna-be lesbians, horny husbands, exhibitionists, sadists,
psychotics, talk show groupies and various other misfits and
miscreants. Station management is skeptical and, after
a couple of on-air gaffes, the threat of being permanently
taken off the air is ever present.

While Parker struggles to keep STRANGERS ONLINE on the air,
an unstable production assistant, Karen, who’s interning at the
station, decides that she and Parker were meant to be together.
She doesn’t care that five years ago, Parker’s fiance, Jenny,
was brutally murdered, that his memory of the night is fuzzy,
and the homicide was never solved. To some, Parker got
away with murder. Karen also doesn’t care that Parker now
lives with his new fiance, Laura. Karen only cares about getting
Parker for herself, at all costs.

After Parker’s many rebuffs, Karen stops being nice. Using her wiles,
her body, and an electric stun gun, Karen worms her way into
Parker’s and Laura’s lives. When Karen finally goes one step too
far, it is Laura that must take action. In an ending that is both
shocking and tragic, Karen receives her due, all the dark secrets
come out, and someone dies... live... on the Internet.

STRANGERS ONLINE is the next exciting leap in the evolution
of the suspense thriller, an intriguing cross between TALK RADIO,
BASIC INSTINCT and FATAL ATTRACTION.
